A*STAR visits Dioxycle from Singapore

Collaborating across continents to reach net zero: A*STAR, MTI, EDB and AEDO visits Dioxycle to discuss decarbonisation pathways

Last week, a delegation of representatives from Singapore’s Agency for Science, Technology and Research, as well as MTI (Ministry of Trade and Industry), EDB (Singapore’s Economic Development Board), and AEDO (Advanced Energy and Decarbonisation Office) visited Dioxycle’s engineering hub in France for a productive exchange of ideas on pioneering technology to reach net zero by 2050.

In Singapore, where energy and industry are highly productive sectors of the economy – and the highest producers of carbon emissions – it is crucial to implement technology that not only reduces the climate impact of these sectors, but that also works specifically in the unique geographical and economic context of the country.

There is currently a large impetus to decarbonise carbon-intensive sectors in countries like Singapore, where forward-thinking industry leaders are preparing to deploy low-carbon solutions that will be much-needed and highly-valued in the near future; and this is where Dioxycle’s technology can provide a concrete foundation for initiatives such as Singapore’s $800M Decarbonisation Grand Challenge.
